You are lucky that you get to have sleep in days. I get up for work at 4:45 every morning. On the days that I don't have to get up, Wookie
may let me sleep til 6. I will be sleeping and I will feel him standing on me, when I open my eyes he is staring at me in the face. If I try to go back to sleep, he will let out a little whimper. If I still ignore him, he pulls off the covers and starts scratching me with his front paws frantically!!! The worst part is that once he gets me up and moving around, a lot of times he will lay down in the living room and go back to sleep!!! And I am just up!!! LOL
