Also I must add to this because I believe my Tia has given my 14year old border collie Jessie the will to live longer ,which makes her extra precious. You see Jessie had been totally healthy all her life up until last Sept when she had 5 non cancerous(thank god) lumps removed. We nearly lost her in surgery then and that's when I decided I couldn't live without that rewarding friendship that only a dog can offer. One month later Jessie had a stroke and the vet said she wont make a full recovery.Unfortunately the day of the stroke I was to take a look at Tia. I was in two minds what to do. I felt I was deceiving Jessie by doing this.I talked to the vet about it (actually cried) when he was at my house treating Jess and he told me it would be the best thing for Jess to have a pup around.Well a big thank you to you Mr.Hutton because for giving me those reassuring words I did get Tia that evening and Jessie and Tia are best friends. The vet cant believe the recovery she has made .So my furbaby has saved my Jess and me.
