As to commerical breeders..for the most part they sell to brokers, who in turn sell to pet shops. Go to USBreeders.net and ask how many commerical breeders on that forum sell "out the door" only..very few..their pups go to pet shops, Huntt Corporation brokers...they are very upfront and honest about it.. it is a matter of public record so why lie? |
If I am spending $1000-2000 on a pet I would demand papers from a reputable registry.
Excuse me I must disagree "a commercial breeder" is classified as a breeder that births (3) or more litters per year. I believe that would include me and many breeders/show people I know. I DON'T think so!
