Unlove Greetings I'm a new member

Hello, I'm NanaJane. I am finding my way around this site. I have a 10 year old Yorkie, Duddley. He is the sweetest, most stubborn, loving companion (besides my husband) I've ever known. He was recently diagnosed with Mitral Valve Disease (MVD) as well as some hypertension. Apparently this is not uncommon in small dogs. He also has a collapsing treachea. The cardiologist has prescribed an Ace Inhibitor for his heart and another drug to help his coughing. The medicine seems to be helping him out. I understand that this is a genetic disease, so it's very important to find breeders that do their best to breed healthy dogs. Anyway, I am glad to have the opportunity to know all of you and hope we chat real soon. By the way, I have a lab/rottie mix a beagle, three cats and 6 grandkids (and one on the way), all which love Duddley fiercely.
