Tiki fought her bows for the longest time but has gotten used to it now. At first she would do the same thing, but even if she wore it for a little while I would praise her & give her a treat. I use 2 of the little elastics (that sometimes I cut out with scissors so they don't hurt her). If its too tight, she still lets me know by trying to paw it out, but otherwise is doing good. Try patiently, and if anything, I always put the elastics in her hair and brush every day so that she became for accustomed to it. Later I added the bows on top and she's been good. BTW it took about 3 months consistently before she stopped trying to get the hair accessories out to chew on them. Good luck! |
