Default Does your yorkie get excited

with their food? I have had dogs all my life (58 years) and have never had a dog that you couldn't bribe with food, until now, of course. Dudley, 2 years old, never eats his food like he likes it. I give him a 1/4 of slice of his food which chops into less than a 1/4 cup a day, and this is the food that he likes!! He messes around with it all day and eats it finally by nightfall. I have tried all sorts of brands that you have mentioned as being good for him. He hasn't ever eaten a bag of dry food in 2 years. I finally threw it out and got samples of everything I could think of from the pet store. He won't eat any of it. He does enjoy throwing it all over the house and chasing it. I have tried hand feeding him, putting wet food into dry, feeding only wet food, which he will eat a little and then not touch it again. I have tried to with hold his food if he doesn't eat it in 10 minutes, (some book suggested that,) of course with no results. He wants our food but if you try to give it to him he won't touch it. I swear, this dog is going to be the death of me. Thanks for letting me vent.
