Join PETA for a demonstration to speak out against the Westminster Dog Show and its contribution to the companion animal overpopulation crisis. The American Kennel Club (AKC) is devoted to keeping bloodlines "pure," labeling mixed breeds as inferior, and creating a dominant "master race" that meets their prejudiced ideas of "perfection."Please join us to let the public know that the AKC is the KKK of dogs. A PETA campaigner clad in a "KKK" costume will set up a faux registration table to remind both breeders and attendees that every time an animal is bred and born, a shelter animal loses his or her chance at finding a loving home.
