Today was Caesar's birthday and I had everybody outside taking pictures (thank goodness). Lucy was fine. She was having a great time guarding her treats from the other dogs.
This evening I noticed she was breathing harder and about 10:00 PM, I noticed that she was getting really bad so I rushed her in to emergency. By the time I got there with her she was in terrible shape. They tried to save her, but there was nothing they could do. She was finally put to sleep to end her suffering.

i have a 10yr old yorkie who developed congestive heart failure 2 weeks ago.. takes a heart pill and lasix everyday. he seems fine and peppy but i am still worried... I am sorry to hear about your loss.....she looks like a little angel. was she coughing or showing any symtoms?
