The living room and the dining is open so there's no door in between. The gate we have is 31". I think that's high enough for a yorkie. So I guess my b/f has been training him yesterday. Every time he jumps, he would put him in his crate for a time out (at least 5 minutes). He seemed to stop. I am thinking of getting some agility equipment for him in the summer because he loves to jump and run (a lot)
