Default Don't Worry

My little guy Oscar had this operation when he was 15 months old - only on one leg. He was fine and back to himself soon afterwards.

However, because he favored his bad leg he used only the three good ones for a while - which caused the operated leg not to grow as strong as the other. Looking back it might have been good to tie up (talk to your vet about this) the good leg (once the operated leg was 100% okay) and allow him to strengthen the operated leg. However, in the end it didn't make a difference, kind of cute when he would run ahead of us and we could see is operated leg flaring out to the side.

Oscar has since passed at the age of 10 from Lymphangiectasia (last Saturday) and I am finding much comfort (through the tears) on this sight.

I’ve posted a long story about his disease, please read it as it may help you in the future.
