We'll if you get a seat that has a clip you can attach her to she can't run all over the car. And as loing as she is panting from stress and not heat you should be okay. Try finding a seat you can clip her to so she can't run around. I took mine on every car ride I could when little and he loves it. He got sick at first but then he got used to it. Your baby will get used to it to. And cracking the window can help sometimes. My boy loves the wind in his face.
