These are some great responses. Here is my two cents;
I use what my breeder used, the cloth ones that are for humans.(thanks Deb at dngpresley). They have a water proof backing. I bought one at a medical supply company and it was about $18.00. It's about 2x3. Since Gunnar has gotten better about hitting the spot, I fold it in 1/2 or 1/4's. I'm going to cut into 1/4s and surge it, after I've washed it a few more times. As for washing it, I rinse it out in the sink first, then put it in the dryer to spin the water out. Then I add other laundry to it and run a full cycle in the machine. I didn't want to put it with our laundry the way it was. ewww
. While it's in the washer, I put a disposable pee pad down.
