The vet says given his history of a sensitive stomach she thinks it may be ulcerated or irritated from the Metacam. He didn't have a fever and she said his stomach felt normal on palpitation. She gave him a shot for nausea and sent home some nausea pills. She also gave him some medicine for the esophagus and stomach irritation to take twice a day. I did give him about 1 TBSP of his Royal Canin puppy food moistened with water at 10:15 am and so far he has held that down. I had to give him something because he was standing on his toes looking at the bag of food on the table and barking to let me know he was hungry. The vet said that was okay to give it to him in small amounts like that.
