I never sent in Wookies
papers, didn't really see the point. But he got his name from Star Wars (of course!). When my husband and I were deciding what kind of dog we wanted, I either wanted a Maltese or Yorkie. He nixed the Maltese because if he was going to have a little dog, it wasn't gonna be a white fluffy thing! lol So I told him I wanted a Yorkie. He didn't know what they looked like, so while in the pet store one day I picked up a Yorkie book and showed him. As I flipped through it, I showed him the ones with the long coats and said I wanted to keep mine in a short cut cause I wasn't crazy about the long coats. One picture was really funny and I said "It looks like a Wookie!" And we both thought that would be the perfect name for our little boy when we got him. It really suits him and he seems to like it! If I were going to send the papers in, it would have been Wookie Skywalker Richardson (my last name)!!!
