I know there has been several threads regarding "how to get rid of tear stains" but what causes them???? My furbaby is 6 months old and has them. She is on wellness puppy kibble and bottled spring water. Do you think it's her diet? I know she is teething and I think I read this can make it worse. I clean her eyes everyday and she doesn't have a lot of eye gunk, just reddish brown staining. I haven't used any of the products yet but I am considering it. I notice some yorkies have eye staining and some don't. Does eye tear staining go hand and hand with allergies? Otherwise she is very healthy.
