Right now the Governer has opened this as a "hot topic"--this means its only proposed legislation and this is like a mock-trial to see if it is worth allocating the financial resources to persue. Anyone can weigh in on the topic since it is not yet official legislation.

I agree--this tax is wrong and will only lead to more animals being euthanized because of the additional costs associated with the services. The proposal also aims at taxing perscription pet medications too.

My fear for residents in other states goes back to the good old quote "As California goes, so goes the nation"
