All my three girls had gotten crate training at nite as a pup, in the day I will put them in the playpen with the pads, if I can keep my eagle eye on them, and at nite, I will put them in the crate next to me, cover with a blanket, but I will let one side face to me open so they can see me, I always make sure that they go potty first before put them in the crate, and I will get up if I hear them. They are all adults now and 100% potty train, they sleep with us, even they have their soft pinkplaypen next to us
but they earn that, now they will jump down stairs at nite and go in the pads or early in the morning if they have to
