Sigh. When are people going to learn to take care of their pets? Everyone in this situation would be perfectly alright if the owner were just a little bit more cautious. That poor woman must have been terrified! And how long did this man have to fight with the dog before he killed it? Can you imagine having to fend off an attack while reaching into your pocket, pulling out and opening a pen knife! I think he should be recognized as a hero! How wonderful to come to that woman's aid.
