Yah, MollysMum, I'm leaning heavily in the same direction. The best of both worlds would be for the breed standard to change so that we could show without docking their tails. I've raised 3 skinkids and I understand...and can handle...the infliction of necessary pain on a little one...the sting from the immunization is much less painful than suffering through the disease, for example. But inflicting pain unnecessarily...I remember when I was a child my uncle had his boxer's ears and tail done and I think I was in more pain over it than the dog was!!

This is just something I can't see myself doing to a pup.
