Thank you, MollysMum! I had no idea that matts tighten up after a bath, but it makes sense. I was wondering if Meg was allergic (?) to the shampoo I was using on her. I just got her grooomed and they ended up having to cut quite a few of the matts out, but I just felt her legs and they are coming back already. Maybe I will go back and have them cut her shorter.
So... if she matts easily, does that mean she has a cottony coat? She is really soft and silky, but has pretty fluffy and poofy fur. I always read posts where "cottony coats" are mentioned, but I have no idea what that actually is.
