So sorry I confused you.
I am speaking about a pet. If I saw a darling Yorkie I wanted as my pet only..I would not care if it had papers or not.
I have kept a couple tinies over the years and never bothered to submit their regisrations..why give AKC money for nothing? They were spayed or neutered and remained my pet for their life. Do you see any reason to register them, I do not? Of course it is a matter of opinion...and I respect yours.

As to commerical breeders..for the most part they sell to brokers, who in turn sell to pet shops. Go to USBreeders.net and ask how many commerical breeders on that forum sell "out the door" only..very few..their pups go to pet shops, Huntt Corporation brokers...they are very upfront and honest about it.. it is a matter of public record so why lie?

AS to reporting dishonest honest breeders..I have done it a number of times..I no longer bother because AKC did nothing.. In fact the breeder was an AKC inspector..need I say more. There are alot of things going on in the dog world I wish I had no knowledge about, but it is a fact of life...no different then politics.. dirty little secrets.
