When I do use anything on their paws, it's just a little of the Pet Silk Serum I've got left over on my hand after using it on their hair. I figure if it doesn't hurt them to lick it off their hair it's probably okay to use a little on their paws.
I'll bet a few drop of olive oil rubbed in, would work too. And it's safe for sure.
