Thank you all so much! Especially Courtney who is just trying to win the Best Friend of the Year Award.
After our trip to the ER last night they put my mom on a vent to help her relax and breathe and moved her to ICU. Even though she was restrained she somehow managed to pull her own breathing tube out. So they just put her on an oxygen mask. She has had every test known to mankind in the last 24 hours. It seems that on top of a mass on her left kindey the us "probably cancer", she also has fluid around the outside of her lungs and pneumonia. They will keep her in the hospital until they get the fluid and the pneumonia cleared up. Then we will probably schedule surgery soon to remove her left kidney.
Thankfully we've been moved to a private room outside of the ICU where I can stay with her. I truly appreciate all of your prayers. I have my BlackBerry with me and will try to keep you all updated.
