I don't want to give up, but I'm frustrated that they have connected yet. We have bred our 3 year old twice, both times successful. I can't figure out what's up this time around. Any advice? Any suggestions? I could use some. Thanks! BTW, they are they same size. The male is 5 lbs and the female is 6 lbs, so height shouldn't be a prob.
Try counting the days since you noticed she started her heat. Between 10 - 14 days normally is the time to breed. Some Dams have their own cycle, but generally about the 12th day it may happen.
So if it was last Wed Sept.28th she should be ready between Oct.8th - 12th,
Good luck, the poor Sire will get tired as of now.
