I have two yorkies with one having grade 3 in one knee and a grade 2 in the other and the other yorkie with both grade 2's and I still haven't had surgery on either yorkie and don't plan on it because both are controlled with weight control and no jumping off and up on things. Both walk fine with no limp and as long as they are NOT in pain or limping I will not do surgery. Every now and then one will pop one out of place but I just put it back and since both weights are controlled I have not had any problems with limping or hurting.
