This is not a home remedy, but I use OdoBan in my carpet cleaner(I have a Bissell), it is a multi-purpose cleaner and I live by it. It can be used as a Air freshener, Fabric refresher, I use it to mop my floors, in my laundry everything. This is what I like most about the product, it kills 99.99% of Germs and it takes urine smell out.
IT"S THE BEST!!!! I can only find it at Sam's Club. Good luck....
