First I would start all over.
I would put her in a crate at night next to your bed for starters.
Train her to sleep in the crate. There's nothing wrong with that.
Actaully every trainer will tell you NOT to let them sleep with you.
If your sleep is being broken up every night this is what I would do.
Of course, she needs excercise and campanionship when you are home.
It's loney all day without company I'm sure. Buddy is alone all day long
also but I do sit with him 1/2hr in the am before getting ready for work
and another 1/2 hrs after dinner. He get's walked 4times a day also.
As they get older they do not require so much attention. (most of the time).
When Buddy would wake me up as a puppy to play at night I would put
him on the floor and threaten to swat him with a paper which I kept under
the blanket. It wasn't long that he realized when he jumped on the bed
and left me alone he would not get put on the floor or hit with the paper.
Neither hurt him and taught him that when he's on the bed he sleeps.
Good luck, |
