Reb had knee surgery when he was not quite a year old. A great vet did his surgery, he stayed overnight and I picked him up the next day. The first couple of days were hard - he was groggy and in pain. After that the problem was keeping him from doing too much.
He had to stay in a kennel unless he was in my arms or I was carrying him outside to potty. He did really well, and never bothered his cast/bandages at all. He's 2 years old now and is doing great!
