I have a cat who does this. She would attack and then wait for the paper to come out and attack that. Sometimes ripping it up and trying to eat it! I have to lock her out of the room if I need to print anything.
The first time she did this though, I printed something, left the room, came back and nothing was there. I thought my printer broke... turns out she'll stand on top and turn it off. UGH.
