Since it's the 1st of the month, Lola is due for her Frontline and her Heartguard medications. I'm just wondering a few questions about it though. Lola is only 4 lbs, but the medications are for dogs "up to 22lbs". That makes me think that Lola probably shouldn't use the whole dose. She's only 1/5 of the weight that one dose of this medication is for. I just worry about giving her too much.

My question is if other people with smaller dogs, give their babies the entire dose of the medicine, or if it's okay to just give them half. When I give Lola her Frontline, it literally soaks her neck, and I just don't think that is how it is supposed to be. I know it's very strong stuff, and I worry that it might be bad to use it all. However, if I don't use it all, will it still work correctly?? Thanks so much for all your help in my questions!!
