I don't know that human shampoo is not safe! It's just that the PH is different. I have used Herbal Essence in a pinch and was really happy with the result. CC is just a really good product that I prefer to oatmeal shampoos that I have bought at PETCO.
In terms of food helping the dry skin, just to let you know...Chewy had awful dry skin. He was scratching for dear life! I had him on Royal Canin which has a high corn content. As soon as I switched him to Natural Balance, his skin and coat cleared up and the scratching stopped within a week or so. When choosing food, No corn, no byproducts. |
