How old are mother and father?
Can you see them?
How much do they weigh?
How many other animals do you have?
Do your dogs exceed the AKC standard of 7lbs?
Could you send me some pics of Mom and Dad?

Do you dock tails and remove dewclaws?
Do your puppies come with current shots and worming?
Do you ever ship your babies?
Do you litter/pad train the puppies, or are they taken outside?
Do you crate train your animals?
What age do you allow them to leave?
Do your puppies come with full or limited AKC registration?
Are your puppies socialized with children or other animals?
Have your past puppies' ears stood erect and do they have rather short snouts?

Is any deposit refundable if I am unsatisfied after viewing the puppies?
Do you have a health guarantee? If so how long?
What does it cover? And what doesn't it cover?
(If there was something wrong with the puppy would she be willing to take it back or help with the bills - this should be covered in the Health Guarantee)

What will you be feeding them when they are ready for solid food?

Does anyone have any other suggestions of things I should be asking? Are these good questions, and what should I be expecting as a good answer? I'm going to have to drive at least 6hrs each way to pick up my baby, so I want to make sure I have all of my answers before I definitely go with this breeder. I don't want to be too excited just to finally have my baby and jump the gun without all the right information.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I added some things or reworded some of the the things you already had. Some questions you should ask... but some of these are things you should go and see.

If you already know who this breeder is maybe you should post her name or kennel so that you can find out some first hand information. It might save you alot of heartache or it might just reinforce a good vibe. Either way -- Good Luck! and Congratulations on getting a baby!
