Marci, it isn't but I think a dog who has had pancreatitis is more likely to get it. It isn't a really common disease. |
her dog has mvd and they think this and it is a maltese -- she has dealt with a nutritionist at ucdavis not susan though and is now getting a consult by dr centers who is an internal medicine specialist. Her dog has been so sick for a while though -- my dog had severe pancreatitis and had to have a plasma transfusion to save his life and has been good for 2 years but i read alot on this and this one seems very serious
so just was curious of others dealing with it and what their successes are -- I found a yahoogroup that has 1200 members with this disease so that is always good too
