Seymour is a "topknot" wiggler, too..... but he is getting better!!! (he better be..... he is 4 years old!! )
We do most of our grooming on a grooming table and so he knows when he is up there, that we mean business. Sometimes it helps just to take lots of time with the brush & comb and get them relaxed before you start on the topknot. We do this when we are watching tv sometimes, too. He loves it when we just lightly skim him with a brush. It can almost put him to sleep!
