Eddie hadn't had the rat for 4 days because we haven't sewn it yet, but he was particularly restless tonight and we broke out the second of our three rats. What we we thinking? He attacked it with even greater zeal than the last time. I'm still not sure if it was his grunting sounds or the rat's. Maybe both. He mauled it for an hour, and we finally took it away. My wife dropped Eddie on my lap to hold while she hid it, but he bounced off me like a trampoline and caught up to her before she got down the hall. Now it's an hour later, and he's still yipping.
