I face Lola away from me too, on my lap (like the previous post stated). She's usually pretty good, but sometimes she's not very still either. It mainly just takes practice, I think. After doing it over and over again, she'll probably get more used to it.

If I were you, I would try holding a little treat in my hand (it might be hard because you would probably need 3 hands...) but maybe if you have someone that can help you the first couple times. I would just hold it, so she knows it's there, and when she's still (even for a second), give her a tiny piece. I would try just slowly giving her a piece of the treat, while she's still....when you are finished with the knot, I would give her the rest of the treat.

For me, it just took a lot of practice. Like a previous post said, don't let her win. You need to let her know that you're boss, and she can't do this and get away with it. Training is definitely difficult, but it takes time and patience, and soon, hopefully, it will be no problem. (Maybe it's best to practice, while she's tired....that's probably what I would do). Good luck!! You'll get it!! Just keep at it....you're the boss!
