My Bailey had puppies on January 12th so the puppies are three weeks now. It is a litter of 5 and last time she only had 3. She has been spotting off and on since she had the puppies. She didn't do this last time that's why I am concerned. I read that because it was a bigger litter the uterus can take more time to heal. Its a dark red blood. She is acting normal, no fever, and eating well. Can someone please give me some advice on how long this is "ok" to go on for? I am taking her and all the puppies to the vet on Saturday (6 days) I just didn't know if I should be taking her sooner. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
