His eyes run some of the time and I was told that yorkies and poodles do this. The breeder said she could not get his ears to stand up. Is this a problem? I feel so bad because I fell in love with his sweet personality and feel responsible for my mom's getting this dog. I'm afraid that he may end up being unhealthy and end up costing her a bunch of money that she doesn't have. I'm so confused. Teddy is so sweet and cute, even with his big ears. If anyone can give me any info on this I sure would appreciate it. Thank you. |
Depending on the age of the puppy you could still get the ears to stand. They may just have to be typed or shaved, depending on whether the pup is teething. This puppy can still grow into it's ears yet, what I mean by this puppies aren't done growing until a year of age. Yes, there is drainage from eyes in many breeds, including yorkies. I wash faces and the behinds everyday. With excessive build up around the eyes can also mean the puppy isn't creating enough tears, so watch that closely. But I don't think you have to worry about a sick puppy just yet.... Did you get a health certificate on the pup??? If you get a chance post the babies picture.... And by the way Welcome to YT. Glad you dropped in with your questions....
