Well the pumpkin and pear has helped her out alot. We also switched over to Wellness puppy soft food. No more strain, yippie.
We starting the carrots today. Got the metamucil as a back up. I would guess it would be best to mix with water first and then add to the food.
When our puppys anus was buldging we put some hydracortizone cream around the area, it helped her pass the hard stool. Guess you could use petroleum jelly also. We took her the first time to the vet and they gave her several enemas, poor thing was so sore from all of that. |
