Have you actually seen his stool? Was it hard. When puppies have coccidia they will strain and their butts will get red and sore looking. A little karo syrup and water will help soften the stool if he is constipated.
Also for weaning, I recommend you put down a bowl of finely ground up dry puppy food and a bowl of water. If they are nursing from momma then they don't need the mush, they will just lick the ground up dry food. You will find that weaning is much simpler using this method. |
