I wouldn't worry too much over it. They are pretty sore for a couple days and it does take several months to get to where they can walk well on the leg but it isnt that bads of a surgery. Make sure you do the excercises to keep the leg limber and that will help the healing process. Mine was up and walking in no time and wanting to jump off of the couch which was hard to get him to quit doing. It did take months for him to put his leg down and walk on it but that could be because he was used to walking on three legs before his surgery. Good luck and try not to get too worried about it.
