I just listed a couple of items a couple of weeks ago....and I sold one of my bikes on CL really quickly. I put in all the necessary info that anyone would need or want, put the price and said CASH ONLY. They tell you right on there to be careful and meet people in a public place, but b/c of the situation (it would have been difficult for me to transport a bike much of anywhere b/c I don't have a truck or SUV and b/c I spoke to the person who was interested, he had to drive an hour to even see the bike and he just seemed pretty trustworthy)....but I think normally I would prefer to meet someone elsewhere. Also, depending on what you're selling, or more, how much you're selling it for, I'd request the money to not be in large bills b/c so many are counterfeit. And there's no way I'd take a money order or a check. I am very pleased with the bike sale!
Now...if I could just sell the wedding dress, LOL.
