I would use tons & tons of bubble wrap. I just got done moving 3000 miles cross country and not one broken bowl, plate, or glass, not even antiques... lots of bubble wrap.. Lots lots... and then wrap it in newspaper around that. Oh and put a wad of newspaper inside the dog bowl and then wrap in bubble wrap. by the time I got done packing up my glassware, I could've tossed em like a football and none broke. LOL
