Here it is. My little girl likes to bite me. She doesn't bite to be mean she is playing. She doesn't bite my wife or my son, well she does a little but very softly but me, she must think I am a pork chop or something because she really goes after my hands like she has never eaten before and never will again. Can anyone tell me what I can do? |
I use Cesar Milan's technique. I apply firm finger tip pressure to the side of Gus' neck, and firmly say "mommy says NO BITING" with emphasis on the "no biting". Initially you will need to apply firm pressure until your little girl becomes still (submissive), calmly repeating, "mommy says no biting". I'm his dad, but use "mommy" as in Gus' mother. Cesar says that this is the way a mother corrects her pups. Gus gets the message quickly. Also, distractions like putting a toy in his mouth works.
Note: The amount of "firm finger pressure depends on the size of your little girl, & what it takes to get her in a calm state.
