I adopted molly at 2 years old and had her spayed 3 months later. She attracted so much doggy attention when she was in heat, and i was worried she would get pregnant by a big dog. She sailed through the op and had no problems. there are so many dogs in rescues, i think it is being a resposible owner to have your dog spayed.
