The whole situation is just crazy. I know some people relish a large family and it's all good if you can afford it and not have to be a burden to anyone. Ok realistically speaking aside from the financial aspect these children need attention and supervision. She lives with her parents. She and I are the same age....my dad is turning 60 and mom is turning 57. Right now my dad is babysitting my son and niece during the day. I know there is no way in hell my dad could watch 6 much less 14 children when most of them are not school age. So not only is she being irresponsible to her children she is being a total burden to her parents. Go figure at that age they want to visit grandchildren and get ready for their golden retirement years...not having to go back to work or work for a longer time to support more children. As a parent you do what you must to help your children even when they are grown but that is just crazy they are in that position.
The doctors that implanted that any embreyos should be brought up to the board of ethics. What they did was totally irresponsible..they jeopardized her life and that of the possible babies.
Also there really should have been some sort of counseling offered to her before the procedure. Don't they usually counsel the person to speak to them about the possibilities of what can or can't go wrong. I feel that the doctor was negligent.
