I think on a very young puppy this might be safe, but I wouldn't let a child handle a very young puppy. I know people do this with cats, but I remember reading that as a dog gets heavier or older, it's not safe. You make the rules, some people are always offended when you ask them to do things your way, but with your pets, you make the rules. If in doubt, don't allow it. |
