If I remember correctly the Lady a couple years back that had that many had to be on bed rest and they kind of had her laying inverted a good bit to help relieve some of the pressure from all the babies. OUCH is all I can say. |
My girlfriend wound up delivering at 27 weeks. It was a very long couple of months while they were in the hospital and even longer time when the babies came home. They had to have monitors as well as special feedings. They could not eat more than a couple of cc's of food at a time and then they had to sit up after feedings due to poorly developed digestive systems. My poor gf was about to loose her mind. By the time she fed them, pumped and then changed them, it was literally time to start all over. She got maybe 1 1/2 hours of sleep between the feedings. and that is just 2 babies!
the women out west who had 6 was, I think, on bedrest for a very long time. I want to think it was for at least 4 mos if not more but I can't say for sure.
