I'm not sure if you have your heart set on a puppy or not, but Atlanta Pet Rescue recently helped out by taking in several dogs after a puppymill bust in Alabama. There are a few yorkies there who are in need of a loving home.

We adopted our Lane from them just before Christmas! We have just had her for a month, and she is like a brand new dog. It's been truly heartwarming to watch her come out of her shell and adjust to the "good life." We (including her yorkie sister Rory) couldn't be more thrilled!
