I've also heard that a dog's name should be one or two syllables, and something he won't hear constantly. That's partly why I decided not to name my boy "March", because I figured he'd be hearing it quite a bit during, well, March.
So you might want to have a nickname picked out for the pup too, in addition to the full name. |
